Pie

Now this may seem like a kind of random subject, but if you think about it, pie plays a major influence in peoples lives if you really think about it. I mean, how good is pie? Pie is probably in the top five greatest foods on earth. Whoever invented pie is a genius. There are tons and tons of different kinds of pie: cherry pie, chocolate pie, coconut, banana, caramel, raspberry, blue berry, apple, peach, strawberry, there are pies that have all these mixed together. Heck, even pizza pie. Lets face it, pie is great. You can make just about anything into a pie, that is probably where they got chicken pot pie, a bunch of left overs thrown into a pot, with a crust put on for the heck of it. And it does affect people today. It has affected people for hundreds of years. Think of the pilgrims, and Thanksgiving, what did they eat besides turkey and stuffing? Pie of course. Pie is everywhere, heck it is so good, that one day some genius mathematician, was sitting there doing an equation on a circle, but he couldn’t get that blue berry pie out of his mind. So to let it go he decided out of pure pie madness to call the recurring number ‘3.14', pie, but to hide his madness, he spelled it pi, instead of pie, and noone new, until one day they caught him stealing pies from a bakery and he confessed it all. But that’s not the point. The point is, PIE IS AMAZING!!! Pie has changed math history! You don’t see cake doing that now do ya! Didn’t think so! But all this pie mania, makes you wonder, what is it about pie that makes it so tasty and wonderful? Did you ever stop to think that maybe there is something more? Something hidden, some symbolism in pie and what it stands for? Some deeper knowledge that the maker of the pie didn’t inform the rest of us about? What is the secret to pie? Where does it’s goodness come from? Or, you could just not worry about all of this stuff, and just enjoy eating it! That’s what I do. Whenever a question comes up, I just eat until it goes away. And eventually I stop caring where the goodness comes from, and just enjoy it. I believe that there are a lot of questions, and a lot of answers out there. But come on people, pie is pie. What else is there to worry about? Bake, or buy, and EAT IT! That’s all there is to it. Ask all you want about cake, and french fries, and ice cream, but I think pie stands for enough in this country that it deserves the proper respect. And what better way to show respect than by showing that you love it. And how do you show you love pie? JUST EAT IT!!! And bam! There you go! Now you may think that this blog was written by some wacko that doesn’t have the faintest clue what the heck he is talking about. But really, it came from my heart, for I, have a passion for pie.

Fire And Ice

Just put this comic on well, because I’m posting my blog, and sometimes, it just feels good to let it all out. Anyways, back to my blog.

Fire And Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desireI hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice,I think I know enough of hateTo say that for destruction iceIs also greatAnd would suffice
This is a poem by Robert Frost concerning the end of the world. If I had the choice wether to have the world end in fire, or in ice, I would have to say ice. Although in some cases fire might be better. For example, you die quicker and get it over with. The only problem is the way you die. Death by fire and burning I would hate. It is hard to imagine the pain someone who is being burned goes through. It’s like touching your hand to a hot pan and holding there. At first there is excruciating pain. Then you hear a sizzle, your flesh is melting into the pan. Your skin literally drips of your body as you melt and burn. You are deformed, and start to shrivel up, and if your nose hasn’t been totally melted together, you can smell yourself cooking. Considering all of this, Ice sounds like heaven. Although you would endure freezing, and you would live longer, but that’s only because once fire starts on you, it doesn’t take long before you’re a goner. Ice on the other hand, you are kept alive, and you spend your time trying to keep warm. Until one extra cold night you keel off and die. So, there are ups and downs to both sides. But for me, slipping off in the middle of the night sounds a heck of a lot better than roasting, and at least when your frozen your body is somewhat preserved, rather than turning into a pile of ashes and melted flesh. Of course who’s to say that the world will end by either of these? Who knows? Maybe giant earthquakes will just start up every where, the valley’s will become mountains, the mountains will become valleys, and all life will be swallowed up inside the earth, and crushed. Or maybe giant tornadoes, hurricanes, and tsunamis will wipe everything out. Or, it might be a combination of all of these. Some people burn, some people freeze, some are swallowed up in the earth itself, and some are carried off, and smashed into rocks by tornadoes, or great storms. It’s kinda weird really when you think about it. There is no way to know for sure which one it will be, or if it will be all of them, so, there really is no way to prepare for it. Personally, I look forward to the end. Death will be a welcome, new adventure after going through life. Not to say I don’t enjoy life, because I do, but because hopefully by the time I die, I would have lived long enough, that I am ready for a new adventure.
